The course provides the principles, concepts and basic techniques in artificial
intelligence in order to build intelligent systems as well as guides how to apply
artificial intelligence to solve problems. It consists of two parts. In particular, the first
part starts by introducing and explaining the basic background in the field of artificial
intelligence, approaches for representing and solving basic problems as well as
knowledge representation. Next, the topic of machine learning and its modern
technologies are investigated. Through those algorithmic approaches with practical
application models, students achieve enough knowledge and skills to be able to
develop applications so that they can solve some real-world problems.
